2004-10-05 - 7:17 a.m. Ok, things are getting very hectic around here. I have a tai chi tournament coming up, followed by my "vacation" to VA Beach the following week, followed by getting the newsletter I edit out the week I get back. And I probably should do something about the 6 ft. tall pile on my kitchen table (granted that is 2 boxes stacked up, but still it is half way to the ceiling fan). Oh, and my "vacation" is a conference where I am a speaker. Excuse me while I slowly loose my mind. Oh well, it does allow for not having a dull moment. There is a lot going on, but I never concern myself with the tournament - I mostly do it to help support my teacher. Her teacher holds the tournament and it looks good that she has students participating. The talk is mostly done, but I HATE public speaking so I am still going over my talk. Why did I agree to give a talk if I hate public speaking? Because I believe in what the group does and that is over riding the hate right now. Besides this is a good group of people and I really do not feel like I am actually doing any "public" speaking.
